Cococo St. Petersburg Restaurant

Cococo St. Petersburg restaurant that represents a new Era for Russian cuisine. Open since 2012, this restaurant cleverly mixes modern technologies, traditional Russian cuisine ingredients, and childhood memories of different flavors. Besides this appealing proposal, Cococo is also known for its luxury design and a different twist on Russian heritage, literally…

Cococo has reached some serious heights, it became a tourist attraction and a reason to visit St. Petersburg.

The food is not the only thing Cococo is known for. Here, there’s an atmosphere where bespoke design takes place through impressive furniture, lighting, and accessories.

The contrast between stronger shades and neutral tones, warm and cool tones or materials like wood, metal, and velvet creates an intense dynamic: in the same place, exudes the experience of being in different restaurants.

Those contrast between softness and hardness of colors and materials are perfectly shown by the NANOOK DINING CHAIR and NANOOK BAR CHAIR by Brabbu. These chairs blend the beauty and grandiosity of this animal through the robust body covered in satin.

The Nº20 DINING CHAIR and Nº20 BAR CHAIR, also from Brabbu, are a true symbol of knowledge and rebirth, Nº20 bar chair was raise through a long journey of a total set of 24 prototypes intended to reinterpret the forces of nature. Nº20 distinguishes itself for its attitude represented in its fabric.

Pulling the strength from Brabbu is also ZULU DINING CHAIR a midcentury modern furniture piece, is based in one of the elements that the Zulu tribe recognizes by being present in a human being – the shadow.

On the other hand, and being the complete opposite to the velveted and softs chairs of Brabbu, are the EMPORIUM GOLD and SILVER CHAIRS by Boca do Lobo.

Drawing inspiration from the surrealist movement, cast in a unique shape with intricate details, this exclusive chair radiates a sense of fun, yet maintaining its sophisticated character. Cast from aluminum alloy, it is a lightweight and resistant piece, available in gold or silver-plated finishes.

Assembling the overall golden aesthetic and providing an even more outcast look from all the delicate and sweltering velvet, is the customized FORTUNA DINING TABLE.

One of the most known pieces from Boca do Lobo, this time features only one foot and a rounder shape. A smaller dose of this statement piece, but it is still one of the main courses…

Mirrors are widely believed to have enchanting powers thanks to their ability to reflect light and show appearance so precisely and incredibly. Through a passionate explosion of romance, drama the VENICE MIRROR stirs emotion in anyone that catches its eye. Using Venetian mirror, glass with a lacquered wood finished in dark red with a high gloss varnish coat.

The ROOT MIRROR creates a new dimension in the interior design of the Cococo Restaurant, with a set of ten classic overlapped mirrors with different sizes and frames finished in golden leaf rusted in high brilliance and a grey mirror.

Also with an antique appeal is the mirror that evokes supreme beauty with an inexplicable mystical appreciation. MARIE ANTOINETTE MIRROR represents an attitude and the characteristics of a critical “époque” that shaped French history. Perfectly hand-carved details on the mahogany mirror frame, with a black gold electric finish, makes this mirror a truly timeless masterpiece.

Completing the almost ethereal look of the Cococo Restaurant, serving a completely new take on the HERITAGE SIDEBOARD, originally with hand-painted tiles in cyan blue or sepia tones, with inspiration on the Portuguese culture, this sideboard from Boca do Lobo got a Russian twist on it…

Fully customized to tell a different story, capturing the essence of the city through elements typically associated with Russian culture. A splash of color invades the restaurant with this sideboard, setting the tone for a visually rich and picturesque atmosphere.

Also customized is the COLECCIONISTA BOOKCASE, made specifically for one of the walls of the luxurious restaurant, this furniture piece is remarkable and known for its adaptability and customization options. This Coleccionista can be placed or against a wall or it can serve as a separator division.
