Large-scale images transform the entrance portico at Cersaie 2025

Visitors to the 42nd edition of Cersaie, to be held in Bologna from 22 to 26 September 2025, will be welcomed by a new entrance portico designed by architect Dario Curatolo, showcasing a series of large-scale images of ceramic materials and products. These visuals will highlight various aspects of ceramics, from form and colour to function and technology, and above all the material’s intrinsic beauty.

With an extra 10,000 square metres of space compared to 2024, the show’s layout has been completely reorganised across the fully booked 155,000-square-metre exhibition floor. Four halls, one more than previously to accommodate requests from first-time exhibitors, will be dedicated to bathroom furnishings, positioned strategically at key intersections and surrounded by eight halls presenting the latest innovations in ceramic tiles and slabs.

Halls 31 and 32 will showcase newly introduced product categories, including “other prestigious surfaces” such as wood and marble, alongside interior and exterior finishes. Technology start-ups serving the construction sector will have their own dedicated area in Mall 37. Another new addition is Hall 19, offering a significantly expanded exhibition area for Tiling Town and tile installation companies, which play an increasingly important role within the ceramic industry.

Also making its debut is the Bagno Architettura Lounge – Let’s Talk located in Galleries 21 and 22 and curated by Angelo Dall’Aglio and Davide Vercelli. The exhibit will complement the show’s packed cultural programme, which will include keynote lectures to be held in the Palazzo dei Congressi, while The Square in the Services Centre will continue to host architecture and design conferences as well as the International Press Conference. The Press Cafes programme, organised in collaboration with leading media partners, will again take place in Mall 29-30.

Cersaie, promoted by Confindustria Ceramica and organised by Edi.Cer. spa, in collaboration with BolognaFiere and with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Trade Agency ITA, remains the foremost global commercial and cultural platform for professionals operating in the ceramic tile and bathroom furnishing industries.
