Tecnargilla is the world’s most important event in terms of the ceramics and brick industry. It offers the broadest range of goods among the exhibitions in the sector and hosts the major producers of technologies for the tiles, sanitaryware, bricks, tableware, refractory materials, and technical ceramic sector.
Tecnargilla 2018 took place from 24th to 28th September 2018 in Italy-Rimini Expo Centre. The event is organized by Acimac (Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for Ceramics) and IEG – Italian Exhibition Group, the exhibition offers the best of innovation in aesthetics and processes for the sector every two years, playing host to all the leading companies and attracting a great number of international buyers to Rimini.
The event saw a wide range of products from all sectors. On the morning of September 25th the Acimac Annual X Meeting, the traditional congress event organized in collaboration with the magazine Ceramic World Review and Tecnargilla confirmed its successful formula with the presence of over 300 international professionals interested in examining the latest developments on the subject of materials and technologies for the production of the “ceramics of the future”, a revolution practically already outlined.
On 26 September, at the Sala Diotallevi, another very topical subject was touched in a conference entitled “The ceramic industry towards a model of Circular economy”, organized by Società Ceramica Italiana in collaboration with Acimac and Tecnargilla.
The trade fair is divided into four exhibition sections: Tecnargilla (technologies for ceramic tiles, sanitaryware, and tableware), Kromatech (colour and creativity in ceramics), Claytech (technologies for the heavy clay industry) and T-White (production of machinery and plants for the production of ceramic sanitaryware and tableware).
