Vocal for Local – JioMeet, a 100 percent Indian Online Meeting App

India is slowly moving towards a self-reliant nation with the new hashtag Vocal for Local, floating around in the era of Covid-19, imagining a modern and commerce business in India. The initiative by honorable PM Narendra Modi is of making India a self-sufficient and self-reliant country. The voice for Make in India and Vocal for Local is already gearing a lot of positivity amongst business buyers. Several players in India have already made a mark in the market by replacing and finding alternatives for various disallowed apps, proving a call for local ke liye vocal to be true. Today, Reliance Jio has launched JioMeet – a video calling app, 100 percent Indian online meeting app. Just like Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft TeamsJioMeet also offers unlimited free video calls to its users. It is now available for download on Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. The app can be used on laptops, PCs as well as smartphones. JioMeet allows HD quality one-on-one and conference free video calls for up to 100 participants.

As of now the company has not announced any call duration cap but has said that users can make free uninterrupted calls for up to 24 hours long. JioMeet will address the need for an India-based online video conferencing tool that can rival all global services. Seamlessly, India is striving and gradually moving towards bringing the Make in India and Vocal for Local in all business sectors in every category by supporting all the local brands.
