System Ceramics introduces, Speed Wrap, a high speed packaging solution for ceramic tiles

In the ceramic industry, packaging plays a role that goes beyond simple protective wrapping. It is the first point of contact between product and market, an element capable of conveying quality, care, precision, and brand value even before use.
In this scenario, characterized by growing attention to aesthetics and customization capabilities, end-of-line systems must evolve alongside technologies. With Speedwrap, the new high-speed horizontal packaging machine, System Ceramics addresses this challenge and offers a solution designed to meet increasingly complex requirements: fast cycles, reliable protection, and visual consistency.
High speed and production continuity
Within industrial lines, packaging represents a critical point. Speed often makes the difference between maintaining smooth production or creating bottlenecks, as even small slowdowns can compromise overall efficiency.
Speedwrap is designed to ensure continuous operation at up to 12 packs per minute, maintaining consistent packaging quality even at high volumes. The distinctive aspect is not only speed, but performance stability: alignment, wrap tension, and pack finishing remain uniform from the first to the last cycle.

This translates into a clean, precise, and consistent final result that reinforces brand perception throughout the entire logistics chain, from storage to display.
Format flexibility: one machine for multiple needs
Ceramic tile formats evolve rapidly, and packaging must keep pace, requiring manufacturers to manage production ever more dynamically.
Speedwrap is designed to adapt to this evolution, covering a wide range of sizes: from 150×150 mm up to 1200×1200 mm.
This versatility reduces format change over time and eliminates the need for multiple dedicated systems, with a direct impact on overall line performance.
Dual packaging modes: customization and protection
Among Speedwrap’s distinctive features is the ability to operate with two different packaging modes, offering a high degree of operational freedom.
Wrap around
Designed for applications where visual impact is critical, this mode uses four independent die-cut warehouses. The system allows complete control over graphics, layout, and protection level, transforming packaging into a brand communication tool.
Tray mode
In this configuration, a single sheet of cardboard is applied and folded around the stack using a dedicated tilting system. The result is a stable, neat, and effective solution, particularly suitable for large formats or more delicate products.
The ability to switch between the two modes makes Speedwrap extremely adaptable, capable of responding to different production strategies and specific market requirements.
Integration and compactness: Designed for modern lines
Space optimization is one of the main challenges in contemporary plants. With a particularly compact footprint, Speedwrap integrates easily into existing layouts or contexts with limited space.
Installation is typically completed in one day, minimizing downtime. The machine can be configured with six die-cut warehouses or two tray warehouses, with the option to apply corner protectors for greater stability during transport and stacking. Speedwrap is therefore a concrete response to end-of-line challenges offering high performance and operational flexibility.
