The 43rd edition of Cersaie returns to the Bologna Exhibition Centre from 21 to 25 September 2026

Cersaie 2026 will cover 155,000 square metres of exhibition space, reaffirming its position as the leading international event for ceramic surfaces, bathroom furnishings and architectural design.

Cersaie once again confirms its role as an international forum for discussion on architecture and design, with a programme featuring some of the world’s leading architects and the industry’s foremost publishing houses with its, “The “Building, Dwelling, Thinking” cultural programme.

  • The Architecture of Infrastructure”,Wednesday 23 September at10.30 a.m., The Square, organised in collaboration with THE PLAN, focusing on the design of Turin Metro Line 2, with UNStudio, Infra.To and Settanta7;
  • Italian Singularities”Wednesday 23 Septemberat2.30 p.m., The Square, organised in collaboration with Casabella, featuring 13 Italian architecture practices;
  • Lectio Magistralis by Alejandro Aravena, Thursday24 September at 10.30 a.m., Palazzo dei Congressi, organised in collaboration with Interni;
  • Lecture by Annabelle Selldorf, Thursday 24 September at 2.00 p.m., The Square, organised in collaboration with Platform;
  • Reverse Lesson with Francesco Faccin and Fulvio Irace, Friday 25 September at 10.30 a.m., Palazzo dei Congressi;
  • “AER Architecture Emilia-Romagna”, Friday 25 September at 10.30 a.m., The Square, organised in collaboration with the Emilia-Romagna Region.

It will continue with its successful format of informal conversations on the most topical issues in design, architecture and urban planning with its “One theme a day with the Press Cafés”.

The common thread running through the 2026 edition is the many different ways of living, explored through a different theme each day.

There will be Awards and award winners along with “The world of tileinstallation” taking centre stage in Hall 19. For the second consecutive year, Hall 19 will be entirely dedicated to tile installation.

Also returningis the “Cersaie World Tiling Lab”, a 200-square-metre area where six teams of tile installers from Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Morocco, the United States and Brazil will compete by installing ceramic surfaces to create six fully realised settings.
