Interior designer Vaida Kandrataviciute has created an interior to a
new private house inspired by the great signer Tina Turner, in Vilnius Old
Town, Lithuania, the UNESCO world heritage country.

Lithuania, a UNESCO world heritage country in Europe that is known for its
rich architecture has always excited the people all over the world. The
identity of Lithuania’s architecture is defined not only by historical
situations, but also by people who lived at different periods of time and their
perception of art. Starting with wood, stone and clay, Lithuania already built
brick buildings back in the 13th century. The remains of masonry from that
century might be found in the very heart of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania,
i.e. in the bell tower of the cathedral. Open to a diversity of culture, art
trends and architectural styles, Lithuania created an extraordinary and
unique face of architecture.

Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania has some historic buildings that are Gothic,
Renaissance, Baroque and Classicism styles. Referring to its old beauty,
interior designer Vaida Kandratavičiūtė along with DelightFULL has created
and developed an interior for a new private house in Vilnius old town.
Vaida uses a phrase that is referenced on the website that tells us a lot
about her work and especially her relationship she has with her clients –
“Professionalism is giving honest attention, time, experience and
knowledge to the people who put their trust in us. It is attentive listening
and the ability to talk to clients and understand what is important to them
and how they want to feel at home. Communication, the same expectations
and an ability to create an outcome that sparks joy, that said, DelightFULL
is proud to be part of a project of Vaida because we identify with values
espoused by her.

The studio was created with an experience of more than 15 years in interior
design and it has three important pillars: versatility, simplicity and
sustainability. They have a portfolio of high quality, in which now is DelightFULL that fits perfectly in the ideas of IDAS because they work with
houses that are adapted to our style, comfortable areas and above all
functional.

In this house it is possible to feel excited by the spirit of the great singer
Tina Turner, by the Turner collection that presents some different models.”
“For us it is an honour to work on this project located in Lithuania because
the country is a UNESCO world heritage site, which makes every project
carried out in this country a real challenge to respect this legacy and
history. We would also like to highlight the beauty of this city in the old
continent, something that makes it so special and unique.”

The Living Room is one of the most important rooms and where we spend
more time, in this project this room was thought in order to have light
entrances that make it illuminated by the natural light of the beautiful Vilnius
old town. Then it highlighted the contrast between white and green, two
colors that transmit tranquility and calm to us. The centerpiece of this room
is clearly the Turner floor lamp, which brings luxury and elegance to this
living room.

The importance of an open space between the living room, dining room and
the kitchen makes this project very interesting and challenging for the
interior designer as she managed without physical walls to create and join
these three rooms brilliantly.

The Turner floor lamp was inspired by Tina Turner’s electrifying dance
moves. Ideal for this project as this art deco floor lamp is undoubtedly the
centerpiece of the mid-century living room. This mid-century floor lamp has
five large arches made of brass and a semi-spherical top cover of
aluminum lacquered in glossy white or any other RAL colour of your
choice. With the ability to rotate its arches to your desired position, the
Turner floor lamp is perfect for those looking for practical lighting design
with a cutting edge design. All in all, this modern corner lamp allows you to
create your favourite composition at any time, elevating the mid-century
modern decor.

Wall-mounted chandeliers bring advantages compared to other types of
chandeliers, as they are fixed to the wall, which makes it easier to build the
room, as it is only necessary to place them once, and they are also more
efficient. This turner wall lamp brings the perfect harmony of this Turner
collection, as there are all the ingredients to celebrate along the hits of
singer Tina Turner.

The importance of having a table lamp makes us think of the variety of
tasks that can be done with this light, and that are very important for each
one of us, such as reading, which helps us increase our culture and
intellectuality. As well as, in more modern times, the use of a computer and
the light that allows us not to wear out our eyesight so quickly.

The versatility of the turner table is reflected here because besides having
the function of serving as a support for reading it is also an essential piece
that serves as support for everyday life like this sink with the turner.
The body has a gold plated finish, while the shade was lacquered a black
matte on the outside and a gold powder paint on the inside, so as not to
create an uncomfortable glaze for the user. Its five movable arcs can be
rotated into the desired position, which gives this black table lamp a sense
of fun, and allows you to create the best composition to fit your modern
home décor. A versatile piece, that can be used in almost any room of your
house, this brass desk lamp looks its best when placed in a modern home
office or art deco inspired living room.
